S.K.A.T.E. which mimics the game of H.O.R.S.E. (played by basketball players) entered the skateboarding landscape in the ’70s on vert and has been a staple during street sessions throughout Skateboarding's progression. In the early 2000s éS pioneered an official tournament of the game, which endures to this day.

In the end, Derek’s deep bag of tricks held off the challenger, won the $500 Purse and the custom Canada Skateboard Championship plaque created by Daniel Nelson from Driftwood Works Inc.

Thanks to Tyler Holm, Paige and Gman at Timebomb Trading for organizing the event, Ryan and the team at KING, Benny and Trevn from Canada Skateboard and of course all of the Skaters for taking part. See you in 2020!
