With over 20 years in the fashion industry, Brian Jenkinson from CUT & SHOW has experience in Sales, Operations and eCommerce. In the eCommerce 101 session, Brian will talk Adele and Brendan that have built and maintain their own eCommerce sites. Brian will chat with them about some of the obstacles and successes faced in the online landscape.
Adele Tetangco is a veteran of the boutique fashion industry with 12+ years of experience in sales and marketing. She was instrumental in developing new sales channels for a local independent designer and boutiques. As a consultant working with boutiques and emerging labels, Adele recognized the struggles of running an independent fashion and the need for a new platform to move inventory and improve cash flow. She is driven by a desire to provide better access to hard-to-find emerging contemporary designers for consumers who, like herself, love to shop independent boutiques.
Brendan Bennett is a creative working in the digital realm, specifically as the ecommerce and social media manager for Still Life Creative in Victoria, BC. With 15 years industry experience, he has worked extensively with local independent stores as well as globally recognized brands. Starting with Still Life in early 2016, he came on to build the ecommerce aspect of the business and has taken it from a small component to an integral aspect of the business and it's growth. In his down time he enjoys photography, art, design, cycling and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
