It’s been only five years since the first pair of denims with the characteristic skull logo hit the market but today, Cheap Monday is a full concept denim brand. The first pair, a tight skinny fitting denim, was originally made as a product exclusive for Örjan Andersson’s shop, Weekday. The concept was a reaction to the increasingly expensive denim flourishing on the market at the time. It was an immediate success and the collection, now a complete denim and fashion collection, soon grew too big to be carried by the Weekday stores alone. Cheap Monday can now be found in the best shops world wide.
